                                       Evolution of XBOX

Hello again everybody with another blog about another legendary console.
Sorry about a bit late. I am making up my schedule about blogging.
So lets not waste time and start with this post.

Introduction
"The XBOX" a flagship gaming console. It was first released on November 21, 2001 in North America and on different locations on different dates. It was Microsoft's first step in gaming console industry and Microsoft did it well that even till today they have released a various consoles and are competing very well in Gaming consoles industry.
Lets take a look at all the major consoles released by Microsoft.

XBOX
Inspired by SONY Play Station, Microsoft decided to take its first step by releasing XBOX in market and it went very well. The name XBOX was very liked by gamers all over the world. It was released a bit late compared to Play Station. It was released in 2001 so it went on competing with PS2 and it gave a head to head competition to PS and Nintendo Game cube. Graphically compared powerful to its rivals featured a standard Pentium III processor. A sixth generation gaming console. It's sales were always behind the sales of Play Station but it did very well. It was also the first gaming console produced by an American company since Atari Jaguar. Almost a year later its release in 2002 Microsoft launched its XBox Live service, a fee based online gaming service.

Last game for this console was released in August 2008 Madden NFL 09.

More than 24 million units were sold ( as of May 2006). Its sales was discontinued in March 1, 2009 and support for live Xbox service ended on April 15, 2010.

Xbox 360
The "Xbox 360" successor of Xbox console, a home video game console was unveiled in May, 2005 and was released on November 22, 2005. Known during development by different names as Xbox Next, Xenon, Xbox 2, Xbox FS or Next Box. Microsoft put a lot of work in development of this console. It also conducted an event of  400 developers to recruit support for console. ATI developed its GPU. This console used IBM's Xenon processor, compared to its previous console it had a lot more processing power.

Xbox 360 did very well compared to its predecessor, initially Microsoft was not able to supply enough systems to meet initial consumer demand, selling out completely on its release. As Play Station 2 was having a hard time in market cause of its high price compared to Xbox 360. Many big gaming projects were started for Xbox 360 and they went very well and even today they are doing very goo including HALO, DMC, Tekken etc.

IGN in 2009, called Xbox 360 the 6th great est gaming console ever. The sales of Xbox 360 discontinued recently in April, 2016. As of June 9, 2014 total of 84 million units were sold.

This console is having two Quad core processors having architecture of x86 and total of 64 cores clocked at 1.75 GHz and 8 GB of DDR 3 RAM with a memory bandwidth of  68.3 GB/s. Project SCORPIO
Scorpio, kinda cool name for a confidential project of Microsoft's XBOX division. You can also call it Xbox ONE S, cause its a slimmer version of ONE, with upgraded components. It will feature 8 core AMD APU, and will have 6 Tera Flops of  graphical computing performance. It will support full 4K support and Of course VR support. It is said to be a competitor of PS4 PRO.

Well, we have to wait a little bit more to know more about this console. How well will it do against its competitors?
